What a Remarkable Year for Giving Across Pennsylvania!
As I look back on 2025, I’m struck by the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to meet through my work with Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving. It has been an honor to hear the stories of organizations across the Commonwealth that step up every day to ensure their neighbors have the support they need. And along the way, there were some memorable moments, too — including sitting inside a firetruck for the very first time!
In the year ahead, we look forward to sharing more of the stories behind the organizations we support. Through them, you’ll get a closer look at the meaningful work happening in communities across Pennsylvania, as well as the state lawmakers helping ensure those communities receive the donations they need.
This year, we distributed nearly $850,000 in charitable donations. Thanks to matching contributions from Pennsylvania Skill game operators, and some donations from Pace-O-Matic, the total impact was even greater. Our giving reached organizations in nearly 50 counties statewide.
Here’s how our 2025 donations were distributed:
- Nearly $300,000 to first responders
- Nearly $190,000 to community-support organizations
- Nearly $150,000 to youth services and programs
- Nearly $140,000 to veterans and fraternal organizations
- Nearly $73,000 to women’s programs, animal shelters, and health and wellness groups
We are proud of what we accomplished and can’t wait to continue expanding our charitable efforts in the coming year.
