With the deadline to shut down skill games here, Pennsylvania Skill is complying with the law. Our message to operators and locations has been clear and consistent: follow the law, rely on accurate information, and take the necessary steps to ensure games are not available for play.
We remain hopeful that lawmakers will reach a reasonable, commonsense legislative solution. The loss of skill game revenue will have real and immediate consequences for American Legions, VFWs, volunteer fire companies, emergency service organizations, fraternal clubs and small businesses across Pennsylvania.
This is no longer about what might happen. Communities across Pennsylvania are now facing the consequences. We urge lawmakers to come together quickly and pass legislation that responsibly regulates and taxes skill games while protecting the organizations, businesses, and communities that, for a decade, have come to count on this revenue.

Because the Pennsylvania Legislature failed to pass legislation regulating skill games before the October deadline, small businesses, veteran’s organizations, fraternal clubs and volunteer fire companies across the state have been left without funding they have depended on for years. Unfortunately, this has also forced us to suspend our charitable giving program.
Over the years, Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving has proudly donated millions of dollars to deserving organizations and causes across Pennsylvania. Helping these groups make a difference in their communities has meant a great deal to us.
It is heartbreaking that we can no longer provide this support, especially when so many worthwhile organizations continue to need help.
We sincerely hope that lawmakers will take action soon, so we can once again support organizations and communities across the state.
