As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening local communities through our grants, we recently connected with the dedicated team at PennCares Support Services in Hanover. Their current project focuses on funding the installation of a new security system designed to enhance safety for children, families, and staff.
The upgraded system was installed to provide teachers and staff with improved visibility and communication tools. Staff members working in the children’s area can now identify parents and visitors before granting entry to the rooms. Now, with the ability to grant access only to approved visitors, this improved their control and safety.
For PennCares Support Services, the new security features have already made a beneficial impact. Staff members expressed their appreciation for the support. They shared that the grant has strengthened their ability to maintain a secure and welcoming environment, which is important for ensuring that children and families receive services that prioritize everyone’s safety and protection.
