Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving recently provided a grant to Church World Service Harrisburg. The organization used the funds to purchase halal meat for families served by its food pantry.
For families facing food insecurity, access to fresh and healthy food matters. It is also important that families can find food that meets their cultural and religious needs.

Church World Service Harrisburg used the full grant to purchase halal meat from a local farm. The food was then provided to 63 families in the community.
