In Centre County, the team at Pets Come First works tirelessly to care for stray and outdoor cats through their trap-neuter-release program. This effort not only improves the lives of the animals but also reduces the strain on local shelters and caretakers.

Since 2019, Pets Come First has helped spay and neuter over 1,400 cats. With each cat capable of producing two to three litters a year, their work has prevented the overwhelming challenge of thousands of unwanted kittens across the community.

Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving is proud to have supported this critical program with a donation that allows Pets Come First to expand their impact.

The organization shared a heartfelt note of gratitude, which you can read here: Thank You – Pets Come First. Their words highlight just how vital this work is — not only for animal welfare but also for the people and shelters who care for them.

At Pennsylvania Skill, we believe in supporting organizations that create healthier, stronger communities. Pets Come First embodies that mission, and we’re honored to play a small part in their incredible work.
